A note on the house

A boutique tailored
for the long table.

Femstreet curates from the country's most discerning ateliers and studio-finishes each piece in our own workroom — re-checking fall, hand and fit before it travels. Sized S to 6XL, in cottons that breathe and silks that drape.

“A wardrobe ought to feel like a home —
built slowly, kept softly.”

Fabric notes

What we cut from.

Six cloths the studio returns to. Tap any piece in the catalogue to see which it's made of.

Mul

· Summer

Featherlight cotton from Bengal. Drapes like breath, ages like linen.

Chanderi

· Year-round

Silk-cotton blend with a glassy sheen. Holds an anarkali beautifully.

Banarsi

· Festive

Hand-loomed brocade from Varanasi. Heavy, regal — for the long evening.

Viscose

· Resort

Soft, river-like fall. Our kaftans live here.

Georgette

· Year-round

Crepe-textured silk substitute. Lightweight, easy traveller.

Mulmul

· Summer

Fine cotton muslin — the fabric of an Indian summer.

Care notes

Pieces meant
to last.

Cotton, silk and viscose ask very little — but a bit of patience keeps them in your wardrobe for years.

Wash by hand, in cold.

Mul, mulmul, georgette and silks live longer with a 10-minute cold soak in mild detergent. No wringing — press gently between two towels.

Dry away from direct sun.

Hang inside-out in shade. Direct sun fades natural dyes — especially on banarsi, ajrakh and indigo pieces.

Iron on the reverse.

Always iron the wrong side. For zari and brocade, place a thin cotton cloth between fabric and iron. Low-medium heat for silks.

Store with care.

Fold silks with acid-free tissue. Hang heavy anarkalis on padded hangers. Keep moth-prone wools and cottons in muslin bags with cloves.

Letter from the studio

Practical notes

Things to know,
before you write.

Is Femstreet the same as Femxstreet?

Yes. Femstreet is the boutique name, and Femxstreet is the online handle/domain people may use to find us on Google, Instagram, and WhatsApp.

What makes Femstreet the best designer boutique for women's clothing?

Femstreet is a leading mother-child designer boutique house specializing in premium, slow fashion. We curate cottons, mulmul, and chanderi silks from India's finest artisans and finish each piece by hand in our Vadodara atelier. We offer custom tailoring from S to 6XL, ensuring premium quality and perfect fit, which makes us the top designer boutique for women seeking elegant, inclusive ethnic wear.

How does ordering work — there's no checkout?

Right. Tap any piece, select your size, and inquire on WhatsApp. We'll confirm availability, share fabric details and final price, and send a payment link or UPI handle. Most pieces ship within 2–4 working days.

What does the size range S — 6XL actually cover?

Bust 32" through 56", waist 26" through 50". Each product page lists exact garment measurements. If you fall between sizes or need beyond 6XL, write to the studio — we run made-to-measure on most silhouettes.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes — to most countries via DHL & FedEx (4–7 days). International shipping and any local duties are calculated at checkout via WhatsApp. Customs is the buyer's responsibility.

Can I return or exchange a piece?

Exchanges within 7 days of delivery for size or fit issues, on unworn pieces with tags. Custom-made and altered pieces are final sale. Sale pieces are exchange-only, no refunds.

How long does made-to-measure take?

Two to three weeks from approved measurements. We send a fit-check photo before final stitching for approval. Festive lead times can be longer — write early.

Are the photos accurate to colour?

We shoot in daylight without filters and re-check on multiple screens. Some shifts are unavoidable on phone displays — ask for a daylight WhatsApp video before ordering if colour is critical.

More questions? Write to the studio — we answer all DMs ourselves.
