Story

A house built slowly, kept softly.

Femstreet is a small boutique with old-world habits — patient sourcing, on-site finishing, and a ledger of regulars we know by name.

Our story

A boutique tailored
for the long table.

Femstreet began with a quiet belief: that a sari, a suit set, a kaftan should be cut for the woman who wears it — not the other way round. We curate from the country's most discerning ateliers and studio-finish each piece in our own workroom in Vadodara, re-checking fall, hand and fit before it travels.

Sizing is generous on purpose. From S to 6XL, in cottons that breathe and silks that drape, our shelves favour the woman who understood, long ago, that elegance is a private language.

“A wardrobe ought to feel like a home —
built slowly, kept softly.”

The founders

A mother & child, hand in hand.

Femstreet is run by Aarya Mundhra and her mother, Nupur Mundhra — one creative, one entrepreneurial, both stitched into every decision the house makes.

Aarya Mundhra

The designer.

Aarya worked and studied as a social media manager from 2020–2024, then realised that path wasn't the one she wanted. A creative mind from the start, she pivoted to fashion designing and styling.

Background in media, fashion and styling.

Nupur Mundhra

The house mother.

Designing was a quiet dream of Nupur's long before Femstreet existed. When Aarya enrolled in her course, she pulled her mother along — and the two studied side by side.

Background in business and fashion.

Two minds, one ledger — every piece passes both pairs of hands before it leaves the workroom.

A film from the studio

The way a piece
comes together.

Cloth is checked under daylight. Hems are rolled by hand. A dupatta is held up against the wearer's shoulder and folded again if it falls a fingerlength short.

Nothing leaves the workroom until it sits the way it should. That is the entire promise of the house — patient finishing, no shortcuts.

House notes

Three things we
don't do.

We don't chase the season.

Our shelves are stocked once we're sure of fit and finish — never to a calendar.

We don't ration sizes.

Every silhouette is offered S through 6XL, in the same fabric, with the same finishing.

We don't sell what we wouldn't wear.

A piece reaches the catalogue only after one of us has worn it through a working day.
